Adventure awaits

I still recall how it all begins on my piano journey.
Little did I know, picking up on this instrument was never meant to be just a side hobby for me from the start.
It is meant to be one of my life purposes.
And yes, this is not just a passion.

I somehow always know in my gut that my destiny lies else where.
Many fortunetellers and local shamanic grandmas in my country always told me that I am meant to blossom far away from home.
There is a mission that god planned for me else where.

To be honest, I never have much thought on pursuing this job as my main income because I’ve been doing this out of love.
It has never been this clear until the corona hits and all the troubles in my last marriage, have unveiled.

I was pushed to be at the cliff of a turning point.
Either I push this career to the next level or I have to give up on piano teaching completely and find another career to bring in bread on our family table.

This is why I pushed through to get enrolled in Musik Studium in Germany. Coming in with merely classical background, my chance was very small.
All jazz musicians I’ve met both students and instructors, they all wondered why was I in such a hurry.
Normally to get enrolled in Jazz Musik Studium here, one would need at least 3-4 years of deep preparation.
They didn’t know I had to do this because it was my last chance.
If I didn’t get enrolled then I had to say good bye for real to piano teaching job.

I can confirm you from the deep of my heart that I am thankful for all that has happened.
I am deeply thankful as well for all the clients starting from September 2021. That was the first month I hit the road alone and started working under this name “Thepi-Piano”.

It has been almost 2 years, and I am thankful everyday to still have a chance to continue this job.
Even though it is still rocky sometimes but I have a strong faith that I am on the right path.
And my journey has just begun.
